One of my au pairs as a kid worked as a flight attendant for Condor (at the time, Lufthansa’s charter airline) after her year in the states. Apparently there was a lot of flying to tropical destinations and then waiting for a few days because it wasn’t worth flying the plane empty. Didn’t sound like a terrible situation.
